I log in to their web site, and go to "meetings", then "book a meeting". After spinning for a bit, it fails, because they have to initiate the meeting, not me.
I ring them up. Press 1 for english (I don't, btw). Press 1 if you're a person (not a company). Enter your person ID. May we record the conversation? May we call you back after the call to take part in a satisfaction survey?
I chose yes to that last one, partly to give "miffed" feedback that the other options were taking so long. The automaton starts reading out what it wants me to do next; the sound cuts out for a few seconds, and then it's back. I don't know what the instructions were, so I do nothing.
"We couldn't recognise that phone number", it says, or something like that. I just wildly stab "2" and it goes away. A few seconds later, a human answers the phone.
They introduce themselves and ask how they can help. I start explaining my request. But then, after a few seconds.... "Hello? Hello?" — it turns out, they can't hear me. Maybe it's audio device confusion at my end, perhaps. I start troubleshooting. However, before the problem is fixed, they give up on the apparently silent call, and the line drops.
So.

This time, I choose no. A few seconds later, a human answers the phone.
They introduce themselves and ask how they can help. I start explaining my request. But then, after a few seconds.... "Hello? Hello?" — it turns out, they can't hear me. This time, I'm just talking into my handset — no speakerphone, no headphones, etc. As simple as it gets. And they still can't hear me. I have no idea what to do, and soon enough, they give up on the apparently silent call, and the line drops.
So.
There is then some swearing, and I have to dig out the URL I have in my history somewhere for how to "e-mail" them. I put e-mail in quotes, because it's not Internet normal e-mail, it's the Danish national web-based mail thing, where you log in with your secure token.
Then I type a few sentences explaining my question, and that I've tried ringing, and what I want them to do (please call me in for a meeting).
Task (sort of) complete! Simples!
